An AMM Foundation initiative
In the heart of Tamil Nadu, water bodies once teeming with life ran dry, parched by time, silt and plain neglect. Farmers struggled, livestock suffered and hope dwindled. But from trying times, came a movement of renewal – Project NANNEER.
An ambitious initiative that swore to bring water back to where it belongs — villages and their people. Powered by the AMM Foundation, the philanthropic wing of the Murugappa Group and driven by the unwavering support of EID Parry, Project NANNEER is on a mission to restore over 10 billion litres of water by the end of 2026.
Through de-silting, local engagement and expert collaboration, forgotten wetlands are coming alive again.
